MMK to Continue Enhancing Recreational Infrastructure in Bashkiria » Metallurgprom

During an investment event attended by Radiy Khabirov, the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a proposal from the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant (MMK) was unveiled aimed at enhancing the infrastructure around the popular Bannoye ski resort in the Abzelilovsky district of the republic.

Alexei Globa, representing PJSC “MMK” on social initiatives, discussed an exciting investment venture to develop “Glamping Eco-Tree-2”, which aims to build eco-friendly guest complexes that seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings, ensuring environmental preservation.

According to Globa, this project mirrors the already successful Eco-Derevnya complex and will be situated adjacent to it. Expanding this model of recreation is seen as a significant advancement for the ski resort’s recreational system and the ecotourism sector in the region.

The initial “eco-tree” complex, which debuted in December 2023 just 200 meters from the «Bann» ski center, consists of 20 independent guest houses rated at 4 stars. These homes boast modern decor, are fully equipped with kitchens and panoramic windows, and each features its own veranda along with a barbecue space. The glamping facilities include a communal area for bonfires and sun loungers, pathways for leisurely walks, relaxation pavilions, cafes, parking, and a contemporary bathhouse.

The complex has quickly gained popularity and is already a well-known destination not just for visitors from Magnitogorsk and Bashkortostan, but also for travelers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk regions, and beyond.
