The Marcia Gran Paradiso, part of the Ski Classics Challengers, is a 40-kilometer race in classic technique scheduled for next Sunday, February 5, 2023, in Cogne, Aosta Valley, Italy.

Founded in 1975 by a group of 10 locals, this event opened the stunning ski trails of Aosta Valley to both recreational and professional skiers. The race begins at the picturesque Sant’Orso meadows near the village, traversing breathtaking landscapes, showcasing expansive views of the valley and mountains, as well as narrow forested paths at the base of the Grand Paradiso Massif, which lends its name to the oldest national park in Italy.

The Marcia Gran Paradiso spans two days and features two races: a 40km Classic race that’s part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit, and a shorter 25km version. Additionally, there’s an event for young skiers known as the Minimarcia.
