Arman Issetov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, held discussions with Nico Schermers, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan.

During their meeting, the two parties explored the current status and future possibilities for bilateral collaboration, focusing on enhancing trade, economic, and investment relations, advancing the agro-industrial sector, integrating cutting-edge technologies and innovations, and strengthening business connections between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.

Deputy Minister Issetov highlighted that the Netherlands has consistently been the largest European investor in Kazakhstan’s economy and a valued partner in executing significant joint projects. He emphasized the importance of the annual Kazakhstan-Netherlands Business Association meetings in building business relationships between entrepreneurs from both nations.

Ambassador Schermers expressed strong appreciation for the existing level of bilateral cooperation and reiterated the Netherlands’ commitment to pursuing joint initiatives, particularly in sustainable agriculture, energy, science, education, and green technologies.

The two parties conveyed their desire to further enhance their partnership and confirmed their intention to sustain an active political dialogue while continuing collaboration on international platforms.
