The Arctic Circle Race is a challenging long-distance skiing event utilizing classic techniques, recognized as one of the most demanding ski races in the world.

This three-day race traverses Greenland’s breathtaking and often rugged terrain north of the Arctic Circle, where participants must ski 160 kilometers over three days, braving temperatures that can drop to -25 degrees Celsius.

Each night, participants rest in small tents surrounded by the stunning wilderness illuminated by the Northern Lights. Upon reaching camp each day, they prepare their own meals and dry their gear for the next day’s adventure, all while enjoying a complimentary massage daily.

During the event, participants will enjoy traditional Greenlandic dance and music, along with tasting local delicacies such as whale, musk ox, and shrimp. They will also have the opportunity to see traditional Greenlandic attire and participate in activities like dog sledding and snowmobiling.

For those looking for a lighter challenge, a shorter 100 km route is available for participants.

The Arctic Circle Race has seen individuals aged 16 to 81, from professional athletes to casual skiers, proving it to be an extraordinary adventure for all.
