Alvar Myhlback Clinches Victory at the 2025 Challengers Alliansloppet

Today, in Trollhättan, Sweden, numerous Ski Classics Pro Team athletes and World Cup skiers showcased their talents in a 48km long-distance race. Following a thrilling day on the roads, the Ski Classics Challengers Alliansloppet concluded with Alvar Myhlback from Lager 157 Ski Team emerging victorious through a remarkable performance.

Alliansloppet — Men’s Race

The men’s competition was filled with intense battles throughout the day. In the final lap, Truls Gisselman and Johannes Eklöf maintained a lead of approximately 30 seconds over a large chasing pack, fiercely fighting to keep their advantage.

Ultimately, the lead was contained, and in the closing moments, Alvar Myhlback (Lager 157 Ski Team) secured victory, completing the distance in 1:44:57.0.

Thomas Joli from Team Ramudden finished in second place, just 1.1 seconds behind, while Amund Hoel from Team Engcon crossed the line 1.6 seconds later, rounding out the podium.

Alliansloppet – Ski Classics Challengers

Alliansloppet is the world’s largest roller ski event, attracting around 1,300 participants annually. Set in Trollhättan, a city famous for its stunning waterfalls, the event features a legendary 16km loop completed three times through picturesque landscapes.

This event is part of a multi-day sports festival and will also serve as one of the stages for the 2025 Roller Ski World Cup.

As the 48 km Alliansloppet race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, athletes registered in Pro Teams can earn points for participation in the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective age groups.

A list of Ski Classics Challengers events with confirmed dates for the 2025/2026 season can be found on the Ski Classics website, which is continuously updated with new events.

All participants in Ski Classics events, whether in the Pro Tour or Challengers, as well as both professional and amateur skiers, can connect their profiles to the Ski Classics results database known as MyPages.
