This resolution formalizes the reorganization of the Ala-Too Resort state enterprise under the Presidential Affairs Department into an open joint-stock company that retains 100 percent state ownership. The aim of this decision is to accelerate the implementation of the Mountain Cluster of the All-Season Ala-Too Resort project.

The newly established joint-stock company will act as the legal successor and maintain state ownership.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been tasked with the re-registration of the enterprise, the approval of its charter and acceptance certificate, the registration of the share issuance, and the inclusion of the project in the 2023-2025 privatization program.

The State Property Management Agency, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, will assess the assets to determine the authorized capital and ensure the company’s establishment in Bishkek.

Ala-Too Resort is a significant state initiative aimed at creating the largest ski resort complex in Central Asia. It consists of three primary areas: Jyrgalan, Ak Bulak, and Boz Uchuk, located in the Issyk-Kul region. The total length of ski trails is projected to be around 250 kilometers, catering to up to 2 million tourists annually and generating over 4,600 job opportunities. In the initial phase in Jyrgalan, 1,624 hectares of land have been allocated for resort facilities, including ski tracks, cable cars, a substation, and essential utility services.
